Notice of review of polling districts and polling places 2024

Statutory notice of a review of polling districts and polling places in the London Borough of Islington starting on 6 September 2024.

In accordance with the requirements of section 18C of the Representation of the People Act 1983, notice is hereby given that the London Borough of Islington Council is conducting a review of polling districts and polling places used in connection with Parliamentary elections held within the borough of Islington.

The Acting Returning Officer for the Parliamentary Constituencies of Islington North, and Islington South and Finsbury will make formal comments on the proposals and those representations will be published.

Representations and comments are invited from registered electors within the borough, elected representatives and local political parties, as well as organisations that have particular expertise in relation to access to premises for people with different forms of disability. Representations should, where appropriate, include suggestions for alternative venues that may be used as polling places.

Representations should be submitted in writing to the Electoral Services, G03, Town Hall, Upper Street, London, N1 2UD or email to electoral.services@islington.gov.uk by 18 October 2024
