Your rubbish and recycling collection will be one day later this week. This is because of the bank holiday. Check what day we'll collect your rubbish and recycling.

Pet shop licence

You need a licence from us to run a business selling pets in Islington.

Apply

Please contact the Animal Welfare team to apply for a licence. Call 020 7527 3222 or email animal.welfare@islington.gov.uk. 

After you apply

If your application is approved your licence will be issued within 10 working days.

The right to appeal 

If your application is refused, please contact us in the first instance. You can appeal to the local magistrates’ court.
