Report a scam through Action Fraud
Call Action Fraud on 030 0123 2040.
Action Fraud is the UK’s national reporting centre for fraud and internet crime.
You should not give out private information (such as bank details or passwords), reply to text messages, download attachments or click on any links in emails if you’re not sure they’re genuine.
If debit cards, online banking or cheques are involved in the scam the first step should be to your bank or credit card company.
You should never provide bank details over the phone as a result of a cold-call. If you receive calls likes these, terminate them immediately and report them to Action Fraud.
