Easter service changes

During the Easter period, some of our services will be operating slightly different hours. Our council’s bin collection schedule will change for one week starting on Friday 29 March to make sure everyone’s waste is picked up around the bank holiday.

See the full schedule and your amended rubbish and recycling collection dates and other service changes including parking and library opening times over the Easter period.

Community safety events

We're constantly working with communities, partners, and the police to make Islington a safer borough for all who live, work, or study here. There are events happening year-round where you can come along and have your say, as well as hearing more about the work we are doing.

Bike marking and checking by Dr Bike

Get your bike marked and registered – it's a deterrent to thieves and increases the chance of your bike being returned if it is stolen.

Dr Bike will check everything on your bike from wheels, brakes, gears and tyres for free, and can make minor adjustments to your bike. There's no need to book, just cycle over on the day.
