Proposed changes to a parking on Stanmore Street and Caledonian Road

This consultation has ended

Start date 06 April 2021
End date 28 April 2021

Islington Council is proposing parking changes on Stanmore Street and Caledonian Road. The proposed changes seek to provide more space for ambulances to access and manoeuvre at the end of the Stanmore Street and prevent obstruction by introducing loading restrictions.

The proposal would be to:

  • Remove two parking spaces from the shared use parking bay on the south side of Stanmore Street and replace them with double yellow lines. •         Add no loading at any time restrictions to all the double yellow lines in Stanmore Street.
  • Convert one space in the existing pay by phone bay in Caledonian Road to a loading bay with a maximum stay of 20 mins and operating during the controlled zone times.

For any inquiries, call 020 7527 2000

A plan of the proposed works is available to download at the bottom of this page.
