Computer skills help

If you're a total beginner with technology - or want to build up your confidence using a computer and getting online - book a free one-to-one training session with a member of library staff.

They will go through the basics of using a computer, getting online and setting up emails, but will also find out if there are other things you want to learn about, and they will go at your pace. The sessions usually last for 30 minutes, are relaxed and informal, and our staff are friendly and patient.

Just contact your local library and ask about computer training sessions. Staff will book you in as soon as they can.

If you require more learning support to develop your computer skills, we have two learning centres based at libraries in the borough:

We also run classes at the North and West Library halls. There are also other Learning Centres in Islington run by Islington Adult and Community Learning (ACL).

We offer drop-in and accredited courses in computer skills, as well as in numeracy, literacy, ESOL and employability.
