Adapting your home
If you or a member of your household have a permanent or substantial disability you may be eligible for equipment or adaptation in your home to help manage everyday tasks and allow you to live independently.
Adaptations can range from simple things like grab rails to more complex alterations like a level access shower. If you feel you would benefit from an adaptation, please contact the Adult Social Care First Point of Contact team who will offer you advice about alternative ways to carry out tasks, with or without special equipment or adaptations.
